Applications for admissions to diploma courses are available in the Polytechnic office. Candidates are required to pay Rs.100/- and Rs.50/- for SC/ST/C1 towards application fees in the office.
The admissions for all courses are done through FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis. The applications after filling up can be submitted in the college office.
Eligibility for Admission
1. Pass in 10th examination or equivalent of any other board.
Candidates belonging to CBSE/ICSE/or any other boards other than KSEE board of Karnataka must obtain eligibility certificate from the Secretary, Dept. of Technical Education (DTE), Bengaluru.
2. 25% seats are reserved for SC/ST in all courses.
Candidates applying for Automobile Engg.must have completed 15 years 6 months as on 1st July.
3. Candidates seeking admissions to grant-in-aid courses must have studied for minimum five years in Karnataka
Documents Required for the Admission
1. SSLC/Equivalent marks card and attested copies
2. Transfer certificate or NOC from the institution last studied.
3. Five years study certificate from the schools counter signed by Block Education Officer (BEO).
4. Candidates seeking rural quota must have rural study certificate for ten years counter signed by BEO.
5. Candidates seeking Kannada medium quota must have study certificate for ten years stating the medium of instruction was in Kannada (counter signed by BEO).
6. To claim SC/ST/C1 quota candidates must have caste certificate issued by concerned authority with validity up to 1st July.
7. Candidates claiming OBC category seats must have valid caste certificates issued by the concerned authority.
8. Candidates claiming fee concession from the Government of Karnataka must have valid income certificates issued by concerned authority. If both parents are alive the income certificate must be in the name of father. If father is not alive mother’s income certificate along with father’s death certificate must be submitted.
9. Photocopy of Aadhar card
10. Seven photographs (four passport size+3stanp size)
